Create a Pet Urn
These are the materials you will need to create your pet urn and where you can find them.
1) Wood box to be used as an urn. You can find a variety of different styles of small unfinished wooden craft type boxes at craft stores such as Michaels. they usually cost from $3.00 to $15.00 . You could also use a wooden jewelry box if you have one that is suitable.
2) Magnifying glass, almost any size will do. Find these at Walmart, K-Mart, or almost any drug store or eye care store. Cost from $2.00 - $4.00
3) Very fine sand paper. Find this a Walmart, K-Mart or any hardware store. Cost from $1.50 - $3.00
4) Wood stain. Find this a Walmart, K-Mart or any hardware store. Cost about $3.00
5) Krylon Crystal Clear Acrylic Coating (spray on) OR Krylon Triple-Thick Crystal Clear Glaze (brush on). Find this a Walmart, K-Mart or any hardware or craft store. Cost about $3.00 for the spray and about $5.00 for the brush on glaze.
6) Scissors. Should have these around the house.
7) Pencil and black ball point pen. Should also have these around the house already.
